Q&A in December 17th:mods that remove leaves or conifers from trees and bushes
Russian moderator Wiking explains which mods are banned (eg. you can get a ban for using them):
- mods that increase the visibility of the tracers
- defoliants (mods that remove leaves or conifers from trees and bushes)
- 3D skins with hit zones (AKA hit skins)
- Mods that allow free camera movement
17.12.2012
- no 4th consumables slot planned
- new tank branches might be introduced
- new national branches of tanks (Brazil, Finland mentioned) will be introduced only if there are enough tanks to build a whole branch. However, SerB mentions that the Finnish have really their own arty (the well known BT equipped with a howitzer)
- sniper medal can be earned even if you actually deal less than 1000 damage, it's the potential damage that counts
- second medium Soviet branch is coming along "nicely".
- it's possible for a shell to pass thru the dead tanks' hulls
- replacing the Caernarvon is not planned (some player complained that in the American heavy branch before it was a problem that there were 3 nearly identical tanks in a row, while the British now have a Caernarvon and two Centurions, which look a lot alike)
- if you get worse FPS in 8.2, "It's probably because you don't care about your computer. Defragment it, clean it inside (otherwise it'll overheat) and update the drivers"
.- the option to reduce the probability of certain maps for gold has been abandoned
- eventually, the scale of buildings will be modified to look more realistic
- no plans to make more maps available for tier 1-3 tanks (newbies need only a few to make themselves comfortable within the game)
- when you push someone (enemy!) off the cliff or into water, from (probably) patch 8.5 it will count as a kill
Guild Wars 2 gold
